Most central Alberta communities have outdoor rinks and an indoor arena. In larger communities like Red Deer, you’ll find more indoor arenas to choose from. Heading outdoors? You’re sure to find a local rink nearby.
Red Deer’s Bower Ponds are a popular place for winter fun. After your skate, you can warm up with a hot drink from the concession in the Pavilion.
The City of Lloydminster has three indoor arenas where you’ll find learn to skate programs for the whole family. You can also skate the manmade lake at the Bud Miller All Seasons Park. Or for a leisurely local skate, check out the list of outdoor rinks, many of which are lit for evening use.
