Your free Travel Alberta Holiday Card gives you access to special offers and travel experiences that match your holiday tastes, not someone else's.

1. First you need to get your Holiday Card

• You can order a card online or call 1-800-ALBERTA (252-3782). A card will be mailed to you. You should receive it within 10 business days.


• This is an online program so you will need access to the internet to view the special offers.

2. Activate your card online

• Once you receive your card simply go to card activation form answer a few simple questions and enter the number on the back of your personal Holiday Card. Your answers will identify the kind of holiday experience you prefer. When you log-on to view Holiday Card offers you will see, at-a-glance, the offers that best match your interests. Of course you will also be able to easily view all the Holiday Card offers for all interests.

3. Go online to view the special offers available

• At any time you can log-in using the username and password you selected during activation to view the special offers. You can search by various categories, with or without accommodation, by region, city, or season.


• The packages and discounts you'll see are available to Travel Alberta Holiday Card holders.


• A wide variety of tourism operators throughout the province have chosen to participate in the Holiday Card program. Please note however that only those operators who have an offer posted in the Holiday Card area of this website, are current participants in the program.


• This is an on-going program and Holiday Card offers are added throughout the year, so check back often.


• Offers are created by tourism operators to meet certain criteria established by Travel Alberta to meet your needs and expectations. Tourism operators are responsible for the accuracy, availability and redemption of the offers. Offers can be redeemed in a variety of ways, so please be sure to read the details of the offer online.

4. Receive Holiday Card Updates

• At your request, we will send you an electronic newsletter, Holiday Card Update, every two weeks with stories, holiday ideas, featured offers, and links to special events going on around the province.
